What is the TOEFL Speaking Coaching Room?
Coaching, or mentoring is a form of 1-to-1 communication where two people (instructor and student in this case) can talk and/or message each other sharing experiences, asking and answering questions, give and receive feedback, etc.
In this room, all of these things are possible. You can also have error correction of mistakes that you make in speaking which will help you to improve.
Consider this your 1-to-1 classroom. As your mentor, my full attention will be on you for the duration of our time together. There is no class of 20, 30 or 40 other students. You will be my only student during our class.
Meet your mentor
Your mentor, Charles, is also an instructor for courses offered at Live English World. With 20+ years of teaching experience both online and offline, he can relate to the joys and problems of learning. Having taught students from over 15 different countries, he can understand the difficulties of learning a foreign language. Having taught students from age 2 through 70, he can handle the differences in age and ability.
What are your learning goals? Why do you want to learn English? What issues are you having as you learn? What help do you need to help you continue to improve? Is your pronunciation good? How do you process your speech, before you say anything?
